About The Author Peter Macadam

I am Peter Macadam and I’ve been in Sales and Business Development since I was seven years old when I used to trade freshly picked fruit for the cash to buy a movie ticket!
Although I obtained a Bachelor of Pharmacy, as well as a Bachelor of Administration degree, sales and business development has always been my passion.
I am a vastly experienced, well-seasoned professional in the fields of new business development, international business development, business negotiation, and the formulation of successful sales strategies.
I am equally comfortable with international and domestic business, and I am also comfortable operating in either market. During my long career in sales and business development in the pharmaceutical, dairy and food ingredient industries, I have gained vast experience in selling both highly specialised, as well as commodity-type products.
I see my role with Macadamy as one where I will impart the rare gems to staff that helps get the best out of them by teaching them how to be assertive and tenacious, and coaching them to ask for, and get, customer commitment. I am flexible and able to adapt my training and mentoring to all industries and products. I am well versed in all the current sales and business development processes, and as a professional entrepreneur coming alongside you, I will care deeply about your company’s current and future success.
